Game Objective
There are two ways to win Devilish Dice – the first way is to strip your partner and make them perform four rounds of sexy punishment on you (before you have to do it on them!) The second way is to make it around the board three times before they do (even though, chances are quite a bit of action will have happened by then).
First, you both take turns trying to win the betting phase. The winner of the betting phase will get to roll two dice to move around the board. The loser of the betting phase will only get to roll one die to move, and they have to lose one health point. Once they are out of health points, they need to start trading in clothes to gain them back. Once a player has zero health points and zero clothes, they have to lose a devil point – and perform a sexy punishment with each devil point they lose.
How to Play the Betting Phase:
You want to win the betting phase so you can roll an extra die to move further around the board, and to get your partner to lose clothing points. This is going to be the first thing you do in the game, before you even roll to move.
Each player will roll their dice behind a divider, to hide them from the other player. The first player will bet on how many of one particular number they believe exists between both players (or, what number they want the second player to think exists).
The next player can choose to either raise the bet, or call the first player’s bluff by saying:
“Devilish Dice”
If the second player raises the bet, this will go back and forth until one of the players finally calls “Devilish Dice”.
If the player who calls “Devilish Dice” correctly calls the other players bluff, they win the betting phase that round. If the player who calls “Devilish Dice” was mistaken and did not correctly call the other players bluff, they lose the betting phase that round.
So, which one of you has the better poker face?
How to Play the Move Phase:
At the end of each betting phase, the winner gets to roll two dice to move, while the loser only gets to roll one. The further you can move around the board, the better your chances of making it three times around before your partner for the win.
The board consists of numerous bonus spaces, as well as spaces that will hurt them. The board also has an inner ring where players will be able to fast track their way to victory at the cost of landing on risky spaces.
Spaces include negative clothing points, as well as chance spaces. Chance spaces can give you a chance to roll the devilish dice, or you can ask your partner a question from Project: First Dates.
After you both move, go back and do the betting phase again. You’ll keep swapping between the betting phase and the move phase until one of you wins.
Player Pawns
You’ll have your pink and blue pawns for the first and second players to move around the board.
Health Pawn
You’ll each have a Health Pawn to place on your scorekeeping zone. This will start at 5 and go down throughout the game as you lose betting phases and land on negative clothing spaces. Trade in clothing to bring your counter back up, until you don’t have clothing anymore. More risque pieces of clothing are worth more points.
Heart Pawn
You’ll each have a Heart Pawn to place on your pink heart counter. This will start at 0 and can go up and down throughout the game depending on your rolls and the spaces you land on. They are there to help you, and can be traded in for different perks that can help a player gain the upper hand.
Devil Pawn
Finally, you’ll each have a Devil Pawn to place on your red devil counter. This piece only comes into play once a player’s clothes are all gone. This will start at 4 and will move down if a player either loses a betting phase or lands on a negative space when moving. Each time the devil token moves down, the player rolls the dice to determine where (and what) they have to do to the other player for sexy punishment.
